I wouldn't mind seeing her (or at least her weapons) being used in another DMC game whenever that happens :')ītw, the official timeline for the series goes DMC4 Vergil > DMC3 Manga (yes, really) > DMC3 > DMC1 > DMC Anime (again, really) > DMC4 > DMC2 (if it's even considered canon at this point). She dual wields blades and throws daggers. I didn't even bother with the second part of the game, where you take control of the other character, Lucia.
Dante gets worse than DMC Reboot Donte and has this dumb coin gimmick where he only takes requests if you get the coin toss right ( spoiler:) Don't even get me started on the tank boss or god forbid the helicopter boss. Gameplay is mediocre at best and sinks like a fucking tank. Story is VERY cheesy, but Dante is still Dante.ĭMC2 is not worth it. It set the formula in place for DMC3 to perfect, so it may seem bare in comparison, but it still has plenty of variety. (I was playing on the HD Collection for Xbox 360 and I don't know if audio is different on other platforms). I wish I could hear what Dante is saying half of the time as his voice is usually drowned out by the cutscene music.
Late response, but I would most definitely recommend getting the HD Collection, containing all 3 games (with DMC3SE) out for Xbox 360 and PS3, and soon in March 2018 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. the graphics obviously won't be the best but my questions are are both of these games still enjoyable? gameplay wise, story wise and overall? are they worth playing now or should i just watch them on youtube?
